At McMaster, we’ve just kicked off our Learning 2.0@Mac program. We have more than 80 members of the library staff (and a few beyond the library) signed up to learn all about Web 2.0 technology over the next 12 weeks. All of us in the Emerging Technologies Group were thrilled to have so much interest.

The first project in our program is for each of the participants to create a blog. Since I’ve been thinking about this for a while, I thought I’d get a start on it. I’ve never been much for keeping a diary or journal, but hopefully the blog won’t meet the same unfortunate demise as my attempts at those activities.
